Job description

At Anchorage Digital, we are building the worldโ€™s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto.
ย
Anchorage Digital is a crypto platform that enables institutions to participate in digital assets through custody, staking, trading, governance, settlement, and the industry's leading security infrastructure. Home to Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., Anchorage Digital also serves institutions through Anchorage Digital Singapore, Porto by Anchorage Digital, and other offerings.
ย
The company is funded by leading institutions including Andreessen Horowitz, GIC, Goldman Sachs, KKR, and Visa, with its Series D valuation over $3 billion. Founded in 2017 in San Francisco, California, Anchorage Digital has offices in New York, New York; Porto, Portugal; Singapore; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Learn more at anchorage.com, on X @Anchorage, and on LinkedIn.ย

With the evolving landscape of digital threats and an increasing volume of sophisticated attacks by malicious actors, we have a security policy mandating all new hires complete an in-person onboarding process - no exceptions. Security is our foundation and we prioritize physical identity verification and secure IT setup. While our security and IT logistics require physical presence to protect our infrastructure from sophisticated global threats, this move is equally about our Village culture. We believe that a laptop can be shipped, but our culture cannot.

Core Competencies :ย
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior trading or trading-adjacent role with a deep focus on OTC derivatives (e.g., IR Swaps, FX Forwards/Options, Structured Products).
  • Experience building a crypto derivatives trading desk or leading trading-related infrastructure projects from the ground up. Past experience leading large-scale regulatory or infrastructure projects for a trading business is strongly preferred.
  • A strong, practical understanding of the entire derivatives trade lifecycle, market microstructure, and the day-to-day realities of a trading environment.
  • Deep familiarity with derivatives legal frameworks (ISDA/CSA) and the regulatory landscape for derivatives trading.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively across multiple departments (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology) to deliver complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive deep into details (like reporting requirements) while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Experience in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets
  • A Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
  • Relevant FINRA registrations (Series 7, 63, 24) are a strong plus.
Technical Skills:
  • Drive: Deep, practical derivatives trading expertise:

  • Deliver: This individual will need the ability to deliver complex projects.
Communication and Influence:
  • Listen: This individual will need the ability to listen, synthesize, and respond to cross-functional stakeholders and partners in order to move projects forward
  • Contribute: This individual is expected to make significant contributions that will shape the direction and success of key projects.
