Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related work experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related work experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related work experience, or 9 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
- Recent development using Python
- Recent experience in software development related to Test Automation
- Experience/Exposure to Test Automated GUI driven tools - Eggplant specifically
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), development of requirements and multiple system engineering models
- Definition of high-level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
- Experience in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents
- Applicants must have a current DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Proven ability to work across product teams to produce program-level solutions
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
- Must be able to work in the office, on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Development/Computer Science discipline(s) with 4-6 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience
- Recent and strong understanding of Python development language
- Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
- Recent and strong experience in Eggplant Test Automation tool
- Experienced leader in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Proven communications skills - Ability to collaborate with systems engineers, hardware designers and integration/test engineers at all levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Experience with network administration and related infrastructure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Systems Administration for Linux/Windows Operating Systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows 11.
