Sales Associate
Position Summary:
$15.50-$17.50 an hour
Process customers of retail store/station in a manner that enhances the business and maintain the facility while on duty to support the process of customer satisfaction and sales growth.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Must meet minimum age requirement for employment. Ability to provide exceptional customer service. Successful completion of all company sponsored Sales Associate training programs. Candidate may also be required to successfully complete additional certifications for this position to include, but not limited to, ServSafe or equivalent Food Service Program, franchise-specific certification requirement (e.g. Subway) Alcohol Certification (ABC) and Tobacco Certification.
Major Accountabilities:
Provide customer service and satisfaction, being accountable to the Store Manager. Conduct sales transactions exchanging goods/services for cash or credit payment. Replenish stock levels with existing merchandise to continue sales. Maintain a clean and orderly retail outlet. Safety and security of premises through application of policies, procedures and inspections. Account for cash, credit and various forms of payment for goods/services provided.
