Job description

Job Function โ€“

Performs daily tasks and functions to ensure timely and accurate support for branch personnel and customer service inquiries. Responsibilities also include adherence to various federal regulations by monitoring account activities and transactions. Provides system / application support to assist branch associates researching various issues that may arise.


Job Responsibilities

Actively monitors the Deposit Operations department email box, and responds with answers / resolutions within the designated service level agreement parameters.

Provides telephone support to all branch personnel and their inquiries.

Prints and prepares various time sensitive customer communication notifications such as; CD renewals, change of address confirmations, deposit correction notices, wire transfer confirmation etc. for mailing each day.

Processes all return mail for the bank, to include account maintenance to prevent future mailings, along with maintaining a log of return mail by customer name.

Performs the daily Regulation CC hold review to ensure compliance.

Performs various account maintenance transactions to include but not limited to: address changes, interest rate adjustments, fee waivers etc.

Verifies all new retail/consumer account paperwork/documentation for accuracy, completion, and CIP approval.

Verifies all updated retail/commercial account paperwork/documentation for accuracy, completion, and CIP approval.

Scans and indexes all retail/consumer new account documentation into the banks image record retention application.

Prints, verifies, and mails CD and IRA interest checks to customers.

Compiles month end reports to be sent to Deposit Services Manager

Maintains reports of customer's Quali-file score daily in core system.

Completes daily reports for review and maintenance processing and completes requested research.

Ensures that own work as well the financial institution is in compliance with applicable regulations directly or through subordinates.

Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Related Experience โ€“

โ€ข 2+ years of experience in bank, deposit or branch operations preferred

โ€ข High School diploma or equivalency required.

โ€ข Associates degree preferred.

โ€ข Understanding of Regulation E

โ€ข Understanding of Check 21 regulations

โ€ข Ability to use a Windows based PC and MS Office Software

โ€ข Ability to gather data to assist assigned area in resolving deposit related issues
