As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will lead inspection teams and oversee complex inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. You will also develop inspection protocols and contribute to process improvements. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. Responsibilities: * Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.
* Develop and implement inspection protocols.
* Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
* Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
* Lead training and mentorship programs for junior inspectors.
* Conduct periodic audits of maintenance processes. Qualifications You Must Have: * High school diploma or equivalent.
* 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
* Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
* Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
* Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.
* Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
***If FAA Repair Station, add the following bullet*** * Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance.
***If FS, add the following bullets*** * Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
* Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
* Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
* Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.
* Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.

* Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 rotation.

* Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/45 rotation. Qualifications We Prefer: * Understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1.
* Thorough understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations.
* Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation.
* Experience with first article inspections.
* Prior experience with aircraft modifications.
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military. Essential Functions: * Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
* Stand, walk, and climb ladders or stairs frequently.
* Work in diverse environmental conditions. This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
