Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II – Airframe to support C/KC-130T aircraft maintenance operations at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, with the capability to rapidly deploy to operational Government locations worldwide.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Aircraft Mechanic II – Airframe is an experienced aircraft maintenance technician responsible for performing intermediate-to-complex airframe, structural, mechanical, and aircraft systems maintenance. The position performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, component replacement, and functional testing in accordance with applicable technical publications and Government maintenance requirements.

The position supports maintenance activities involving airframe structures, flight controls, landing gear, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fuel systems, mechanical systems, and aircraft structural repair. The Aircraft Mechanic II may also inspect the work of junior personnel and lead small teams through complex maintenance tasks when assigned.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled C/KC-130T aircraft airframe maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures, structural components, and associated aircraft systems.
• Perform aircraft sheet metal and structural repairs and modifications, including repairs involving aircraft skins, panels, frames, stringers, bulkheads, and other structural components as authorized.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace components associated with flight controls, landing gear, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose aircraft system malfunctions using approved troubleshooting procedures, technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and test equipment.
• Perform aircraft component removal, installation, adjustment, rigging, and replacement.
• Perform inspections, operational checks, functional checks, and post-maintenance testing to verify aircraft systems are properly restored.
• Interpret and apply NAVAIR technical manuals, maintenance instructions, engineering documentation, drawings, schematics, and other applicable technical publications.
• Utilize aircraft-specific maintenance tools and equipment, including torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, test equipment, sheet metal brakes, shears, and other specialized tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structural and mechanical discrepancies while maintaining aircraft configuration and airworthiness requirements.
• Identify damaged, worn, or defective components and determine appropriate repair or replacement requirements.
• Provide input to Maintenance Engineering Changes (MEC) and Estimated Cost of Damage (ECOD) preparation.
• Assist with recommendations concerning Modification Work Orders (MWOs) and aircraft modifications.
• Inspect work performed by Mechanic I personnel when assigned and authorized.
• Lead small maintenance teams through complex or time-sensitive aircraft maintenance tasks when required.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior maintenance personnel.
• Make accurate entries in aircraft logbooks, maintenance records, work orders, and applicable maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with the Site Supervisor, QA personnel, engineering, production control, and Government representatives.
• Prioritize assigned workload to support aircraft availability, production requirements, and aircraft delivery schedules.
• Maintain compliance with aircraft maintenance procedures, safety requirements, FOD prevention, hazardous material controls, tool control, and Government policies.
• Support aircraft maintenance operations during TDYs, detachments, and worldwide rapid-response deployments.
• Perform other aircraft maintenance duties as assigned.

This position is contingent upon contract award and is not currently a funded position. Employment offers will be subject to contract award, customer approval, funding, and successful completion of all applicable pre-employment, security, and deployment requirements.

• Significant professional aircraft maintenance experience with an airframe/structural specialization. 
• Experience maintaining military aircraft, preferably C-130/C-130T or comparable transport aircraft. 
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structural maintenance, including sheet metal repair, aircraft skins, frames, stringers, bulkheads, and structural modifications. 
• Working knowledge of flight control, landing gear, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and mechanical systems. 
• Experience troubleshooting aircraft mechanical and structural discrepancies using technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and specialized test equipment. 
• Experience performing aircraft component removal, installation, adjustment, rigging, repair, and replacement. 
• Ability to perform aircraft inspections, operational checks, and functional checks. 
• Ability to interpret and apply NAVAIR technical publications, maintenance manuals, engineering instructions, drawings, schematics, and technical data. 
• Proficiency with aircraft maintenance tools, precision measuring equipment, and structural repair equipment. 
• Ability to accurately complete aircraft maintenance documentation and logbook entries. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary aircraft maintenance team. 
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet aircraft maintenance schedules. 
• Ability to provide technical guidance to junior maintenance personnel and lead small maintenance teams when required. 
• Military aircraft maintenance experience is highly desirable, particularly U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, or U.S. Air Force C-130 experience. 
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required by the contract. 
• Must possess a valid U.S. passport. 
• Must be willing and able to travel and rapidly deploy worldwide on short notice. 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required visas, immunizations, country clearances, and other deployment documentation as required. 
• Must meet all applicable Government, customer, and task-order-specific requirements.
