Job description

Napoleon Spring Works, Inc is seeking a 3rd shift press operator who will be responsible for safely operating press machine to produce quality parts in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, basic machine setup, and the ability to monitor production for accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and able to meet daily productions goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set-up and operate press machines safely and efficiently to meet daily production goals.
  • Monitor machine performance and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Operate cutters for end coils and perform basic machine adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the press department.
  • Assist with operating and learning additional machinery to support production needs.
  • Meet daily productivity goals while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous press operator experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to use a leveler.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
  • Ability to use hands for repetitive machine operation, part handling, and inspection tasks.
