About Marquee Dental:
As a Dental Assistant at East Hamilton Dental, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and providing high-quality care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized. You will also be responsible for taking and processing digital X-rays, as well as performing coronal polishing and other preventive care tasks. Your compassionate approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients, making their experience as comfortable as possible. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact patient satisfaction and the overall success of our dental practice.


Responsibilities

  • Come to work on time and be accountable for your agreed-upon, full-time shift
  • Provides chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
  • Manages patient flow to ensure efficient appointments
  • Welcomes patients and deliver positive patient experiences
  • Captures and processes X-Rays
  • Enters patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the Dentist
  • Completes sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
  • Monitors all laboratory cases and ensure they are ready for the next day's schedule

Qualifications

  • Registered dental assistant with the state of TN
  • 1-2+ years experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Coronal Polishing certificate preferred
  • X-Ray certification
  • Nitrous Oxide certificate preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong patient focus
  • Ability to partner with team and contribute to welcoming environment for patients
