Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Jean Presser to join our dry cleaning and laundry team. The Jean Presser is responsible for pressing and finishing denim garments to a professional standard, ensuring they are crisp, wrinkle-free, and ready for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate pressing equipment such as steam irons, pressing machines, and finishing tools specifically for denim.

Press jeans and other denim items to remove wrinkles and provide a clean, professional finish.

Inspect jeans for stains, damage, or special handling needs and report issues to the supervisor.

Sort and organize denim items by wash, weight, or pressing method.

Handle specialty denim and fashion finishes with care, following proper guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing station and equipment.

Ensure jeans meet quality standards before packaging and tagging for pickup or delivery.

Follow safety procedures and proper use of steam and hot equipment.

Assist with other laundry or pressing duties as needed.
