The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for:
Leading the development, governance, and continuous improvement of the demand planning process for the business. This role owns the translation of sales, customer, market, product, financial, and operational signals into a credible demand plan that supports the SIOP process that leads into strategy and executive decision-making. The role leads monthly Demand Review processes, manages forecast assumptions at the appropriate product/channel/customer/location level. You will work with partners cross-functionally to resolve data and planning gaps, and develop scalable, repeatable planning processes that improve forecast quality, business alignment, and operational readiness.
This position will serve Rheem North America, located inRoswell, GA (Hybrid). This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly demand planning and Demand Review cycle, including baseline statistical forecast review, cross-functional input collection, consensus demand planning, and communication of demand outlooks, risks, and opportunities.
  • Own and continuously improve the demand plan across product categories, channels, customers, plants, and planning locations, ensuring the plan supports SIOP, supply planning, material planning, inventory planning, and executive business reviews.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain demand assumptions using statistical forecasts, sales & customer input, historical trends, market signals, promotions, NPI plans, and lifecycle changes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment with Sales, Product, Operations, Supply & Inventory Planning, Finance, IT/Data, and external partner teams to ensure forecast assumptions are understood, challenged, and translated into actionable planning outputs.
  • Manage KPI's and metrics for accuracy, forecast attainment, forecast bias, outliers, and systemic data issues; and lead continuous improvement actions that improve accuracy, planning quality, and decision speed.
  • Lead demand planning support for NPI, product lifecycle, phase-in/phase-out, and product hierarchy processes, including ensuring new item data is reflected in planning systems.
  • Build executive-ready demand planning content, including Demand Review decks, ESIOP inputs, market share/risk analysis, waterfall/bridge summaries, and action-item tracking.
  • Develop repeatable, scalable, and well-documented planning processes, templates, data files, and knowledge-transfer materials that improve team resilience and allow consistent execution across monthly planning cycles.
  • Lead, coach, and develop demand planning team members; clarify ownership, build planning capability, and reinforce disciplined, data-backed collaboration with partner functions.
  • Drive and build value-add collaborative relationships with customer-facing functions and Ops/Manufacturing.
  • Maintain high discipline around master data, planning parameters, and line rates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or Logistics preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in demand planning, SIOP/S&OP, supply chain planning, sales forecasting, operations planning, inventory planning, or related supply chain analytics.
  • High technical aptitude with analytics, presentation content, and communication skills
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams and external subject matter experts.
  • Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer-facing services/products.
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as: Oracle Cloud SCM, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP supply chain management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem identification/solving skills with strong modeling, scenario building, and data visualization skills.

HOW TO STAND OUT
  • Master's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Analytics, or related field.
  • HVAC / Water Heating industry experience preferred.
  • Experience using Oracle Cloud
  • Experience with Sales, Inventory, & Operation Planning (SIOP) process
  • Continuous Improvement projects in a manufacturing operations environment
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional or relevant supply chain certification
