As a Sr. Demand Planner supporting the Medical Surgical business within Core Surgical, you will play a key role in enabling supply chain excellence for a portfolio of innovative surgical technologies. These solutions help surgeons enhance precision, improve visualization, and advance minimally invasive approaches across a range of procedures.
In this role, you will partner closely with sales, marketing, supply planning, and operations teams to translate market insights into actionable demand forecasts. Your work will directly support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and help ensure the right products are available to clinicians and patients when they need them

As the Sr. Demand Planner, you will:

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain account or brandspecific demand forecasts to support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

  • Incorporate key inputs such as replenishment data, pointofsale information, sales promotions, marketing plans, manufacturing capacity constraints, and product lifecycle changes.

  • Improve demand forecast accuracy through analysis and application of appropriate statistical forecasting models.

  • Maintain and manage product demand history, baseline forecasts, and promotional demand projections.

  • Analyze internal demand streams and categorize products based on demand patterns to support forecasting strategies.

  • Align sales and marketing intelligence across operating units and integrate insights into forecasting systems.

  • Partner with sales organizations, national accounts, marketing, R&D, and supply planning teams to support demand planning and business decisionmaking.

  • Lead or contribute to initiatives that improve forecasting processes, systems, and data quality.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related analytical discipline

  • Advanced degree plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related analytical discipline.

  • Experience working with ERP and planning systems plus experience with advanced planning tools such asBlue Yonder (JDA), Kinaxis RapidResponse, o9 Solutions, or Anaplan.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated expertise in statistical forecasting methodologies and demand planning best practices, with a strong track record of improving forecast accuracy through demand segmentation, advanced analytics, and continuous forecasting model optimization.

  • Strong crossfunctional collaboration experience across commercial and operational teams.

  • Experience usingdata visualization toolssuch as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Familiarity withSales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)processes and supporting systems.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience translating business insights into actionable forecasts.

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing industries.

The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
