Job description

OneVest is a fast-growing technology company on a mission to Power the World's Wealth by revolutionizing how financial institutions deliver wealth management services. We are an innovative team that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence. We've been listed as one of Forbes's best start-up employers, and named on the WealthTech100 list for 2024. OneVest is backed by notable investors including Salesforce Ventures, Allianz Life Ventures, TIAA Ventures, OMERS Ventures, Fin Capital, Deloitte Ventures, and more. If you're passionate about finance, technology, and making a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity to be part of something big.
About the Role
Temporary Full-Time: This is a 14-month contract position with potential to turn into a full-time permanent role.
OneVest is looking for a Marketing Manager to join a small, high-output marketing team and add real capacity across product marketing, content, and go-to-market execution. This is a generalist role with a content and launch lean: you'll write sales enablement materials, support product launches, build out case studies and web copy, and help translate what OneVest's product actually does into language that resonates with financial institutions and their teams.
You'll work closely with Sales and Product to understand what's being built and why it matters, then translate that into impactful sales enablement assets, product launches, and customer stories. Additionally, you will coordinate with OneVest's digital team to ensure content and messaging are seamlessly executed across all channels.
What You'll be Doing
Positioning & Messaging
  • Develop clear, compelling positioning and messaging for OneVest's platform and new features.
  • Translate product capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with wealth management firms.
  • Develop messaging that resonates with target segments and evolves as the product evolves.
  • Build a track record of delivering messaging to key audiences through GTM campaigns, field sales plays, and executive-level presentations.
  • Partner with the digital team and broader marketing org to bring campaigns and content to life, while owning core messaging yourself.

Market & Customer Insights
  • Maintain a working view of the wealth management landscape and share relevant market insights with internal teams.
  • Identify trends in buyer needs and pain points that should inform product and marketing strategy.

Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market
  • Act as an internal point of coordination for launches, keeping input from Product, Sales, and Leadership moving so deliverables ship on time.
  • Create sales enablement materials: one-pagers, case studies, battlecards and sales decks.
  • Support product and feature launches end-to-end, partnering with Sales and Product to translate product capabilities into clear, buyer-relevant benefits.

Content, Launches & Comms
  • Write blog posts, web copy, case studies and onboarding materials that support launches and ongoing demand.
  • Develop engaging content, such as webinars and videos, that showcases product capabilities.
  • Partner with the digital team to create a social media strategy, and be responsible for drafting and posting social content, including launches, news, and company milestones.
  • Draft press releases and support media outreach, including pitching and coordinating with reporters.
Must Haves
  • 5 years of marketing experience with a mix of content, product marketing, and launch execution: a generalist, not a narrow specialist.
  • Proven experience supporting product launches and go-to-market execution.
  • Strong ability to synthesize market and customer insight into clear positioning.
  • Excellent written communication skills: This role is judged heavily on writing: clear, persuasive copy that shifts appropriately across sales enablement, web, press, and social.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (Claude and others) to execute work quickly, paired with the judgment to critically review, edit, and improve whatever they produce rather than taking output at face value.
  • Strong project management skills: able to coordinate across multiple stakeholders (Product, Sales, Leadership, the digital team) and keep several initiatives moving against deadlines at once.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Comfortable learning a technical, complex product and translating it for non-technical buyers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-team environment and take ownership without heavy oversight.
  • Prior experience at a B2B SaaS company strongly preferred.
Nice to Have
  • Wealth management, financial services, or fintech experience.
  • Experience drafting press releases or coordinating media/reporter outreach.
  • Experience managing social content calendars and posting cadences.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, or similar design/content tools.
  • Experience with website maintenance and content management.
Benefits of the Role
  • Work closely with the executive team and be part of the conversation on positioning and promoting the best solutions for our customers.
  • A fast-paced, broad-scope role that gives you real room to develop as a marketer in B2B SaaS and VC-backed tech.
  • A high-teamwork environment where collaboration across teams and departments is the norm, not the exception.

What It's Like To Work With Us:
  • Culture: It's fun, rewarding, fast-paced - and we build cool stuff, too!
  • Vacation: 4 weeks of vacation in addition to a company wide shutdown between Christmas and New Year
  • Flexibility: A flexible & hybrid working environment
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Group Health, Dental and Vision Benefit Plan right from the start
  • Equity: Employee Stock Option Purchase Plan
