Serve as Delivery Manager for Key and complex Treasury and Investment Accounting initiatives. This person will be responsible and accountable for successful end-to-end project delivery as measured by: On-Time, On-Budget, With Quality and Customer Satisfaction. This role will provide hands on coaching and expertise to the team including identifying critical issues and driving resolution. 


Qualifications

Top Three Skills/Experience 

Proven experience successfully managing complex IT initiatives in the financial industry, either directly (banking or investment firm) or indirectly (serving Treasury function at the corporate level) - 10 Years

Proven experience successfully managing large, diverse teams undertaking transformational initiatives that required large scale business practice changes and brand new vendor integration 10 Years

Proven experience collaborating at the VP level both within the organization and across multiple vendors 5 Years

Required Skills/Experience

Minimum 10 years' experience managing IT projects within the investment/financial services industry

IT experience directly supporting investment or treasury functions at the corporate level required

Conversant in financial, investment and accounting nomenclature with a working knowledge of sophisticated financial instruments

Proven experience managing large multimillion dollar projects that have significant business implications

Proven experience managing large-scale COTS and/or custom development initiatives

Demonstrated strong leadership skills with a keen understanding of key success factors for large scale, multi-year initiatives 

Demonstrated ability to achieve forward progress and maintain momentum in a long-term project environment (ability to manage volatility, uncertainty)

Demonstrated ability to participate at a key level in the process of distilling strategic goals into actionable tactical plans

Demonstrated ability to manage engagements with executive level visibility and interaction

Demonstrated ability to interpret and adapt prescribed incumbent software delivery methodology for a COTS delivery landscape while maintaining adherence/fidelity to incumbent methodology. 

Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and building win-win relationships with Business and IS partners

Demonstrated experience working with and gaining the confidence of technologists

Demonstrated discipline and rigor to optimally use the project management tools (e.g. MS Plan Enterprise) to produce and deliver high quality project plans, status updates and reports

Proficient in formal project management methodologies including risk management and mitigation, scope management and containment, as well as a take charge approach and desire to remove road blocks and resolve issues

Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolutions skills

Excellent organizational skills including meeting agendas, minutes, documentation, etc

Excellent oral and written communication skills (English speaking required)
