Delivery Executive information

What is a delivery executive?

Delivery Executives are professionals responsible for transporting goods, packages, or food from businesses to customers in a timely and safe manner. They typically work for logistics companies, e-commerce platforms, or food delivery services, ensuring that orders are picked up, handled with care, and delivered to the correct address. Delivery Executives play a crucial role in customer satisfaction by maintaining communication, adhering to delivery schedules, and sometimes handling payment transactions. In addition to driving or riding vehicles, they may also be responsible for route planning, managing delivery documentation, and addressing customer queries or concerns.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a delivery executive?

To thrive as a Delivery Executive, you need strong organizational skills, time management, and a valid driver’s license or equivalent qualification. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, delivery management apps, and sometimes handheld POS devices is typically required. Excellent customer service, reliability, and effective communication are standout soft skills in this position. These competencies are vital to ensure timely deliveries, customer satisfaction, and efficient route planning in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What are some typical challenges faced by delivery executives and how can they be effectively managed?

Delivery Executives often face challenges such as navigating traffic congestion, managing time-sensitive deliveries, and adapting to last-minute order changes. Effective time management and route planning are essential to meet delivery deadlines. Additionally, maintaining clear communication with both customers and dispatch teams helps resolve issues quickly and ensures a positive delivery experience. Familiarity with mobile apps and GPS navigation tools can also significantly improve efficiency and accuracy.

We’re looking for an experienced, highly organized Executive Assistant to support the CEO and COO of a growing company specializing in data center services in Saint-Laurent (100% onsite).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident working at the executive level, highly autonomous, and naturally discreet. The ideal person is not necessarily the loudest voice in the room — they are a trusted guardian of the Executive Office, someone who earns the confidence of their leaders through sound judgment, reliability, anticipation, and consistent performance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000–$110,000 base salary + 7% bonus
  • Insurance coverage
  • RRSP matching
  • Paid cell phone
  • On-site parking
  • On-site gym

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant Executive Assistant experience
  • Previous experience supporting C-level executives (CEO, COO, President, etc.)
  • Fully bilingual in English and French, spoken and written
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
  • Highly autonomous, organized, proactive, and comfortable anticipating needs
  • Strong communication and business etiquette
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in engineering, construction, consulting, technology, infrastructure, or professional services is an asset
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excel experience with reporting, VLOOKUPs, and PivotTables is an asset — or a genuine willingness to learn and develop these skills independently

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel, and executive priorities
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, client visits, and executive events
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, briefing materials, and meeting follow-ups
  • Manage confidential communications and documentation with discretion
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel and expense reporting
  • Act as a professional liaison between executives, clients, employees, and external partners
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase Executive Office efficiency
  • Track priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure commitments are delivered
