What are delivery drivers?

Delivery drivers are professionals responsible for transporting goods, packages, food, or other items from a business or distribution center to customers or designated locations. They use vehicles such as cars, vans, or trucks and may work for courier companies, retailers, restaurants, or logistics firms. Delivery drivers ensure timely deliveries, verify orders, collect payments if needed, and maintain records of deliveries. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Delivery Driver, and why are they important?
