Job Summary
Missouri Furniture Inc is looking for a Delivery Driver Trainee to join our team! Gain the knowledge and experience to safely operate a box truck and become an important part of our team.
As a Delivery Driver Trainee, you will learn all the rules and regulations required to safely operate a box truck and assist in delivering household goods to our clients. After a two-week training period, you will confidently take the required testing in Missouri to obtain your Class E Drivers License.  
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid Missouri Drivers license and clean driving record
  • Schedule: 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. Saturday availability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team 
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
  • Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
Responsibilities:
  • Schedule: 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. Saturday availability
  • After a two-week training period, obtain your Missouri Class E Drivers License 
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
  • Follow route and schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jack in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Saturday availability
