Pizza King is searching for delivery drivers who are friendly, outgoing, hard-working, and have a positive attitude! All delivery drivers must have the highest customer service standards by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional delivery of food and beverages to our customers' doors. Delivery drivers must work with a sense of urgency to achieve high standards of customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Individual:

  • Deliver food and beverages to either residential and/or commercial customers.
  • Dispatch promptly to customers and return to the restaurant in the same manner.
  • Personal stops are prohibited and follow the "no rider clause."
  • Ensure the customer's order is complete and of the highest quality possible before leaving the store.
  • Maintain adequate supplies in the delivery and expo area.
  • Knowledge of all menu items and pricing structure.
  • Basic math and cash management skills.
  • Capable of finding the best route from the restaurant location to the customer's house to ensure quick delivery by following all driving laws and regulations.
  • Obtain a complete knowledge of delivery procedures and follow them.
  • Organize your time spent on the job.
  • Willing and able to deliver in inclement weather conditions to achieve customer needs.

Other:

  • Knowledge of food preparation and order-taking procedures.
  • Prepare menu items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value.
  • Assume a kitchen position in-between deliveries.
  • Support other staff in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning and prep work.
  • Maintain clean dishes in all areas.
  • Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor.
  • Obtain complete functional knowledge of pie-line procedures in order to prepare any menu items ordered.
  • Obtain functional knowledge of oven expediting and cutting counter procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness outside of the restaurant by keeping the parking lot, sidewalks, and lawn areas free of litter.
  • Awareness of outside lighting on security issues and communicating them promptly to management.
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • Expect additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Physical requirements:

  • Able to get in and out of the vehicle repeatedly.
  • Able to safely walk stairs or uneven terrain.
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Able to perform work in inclement weather.
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Attendance at work is required.
