Job Description

Compensation: $21.75/Hour

Shift/Schedule Approximate hours are 11:25AM-9:00PM

  • Work 4 days (FT) 2 days (PT) per week.
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Sunday-Saturday shifts available.
  • Overtime available based on company need
  • One weekend day availability required

The role of the Delivery Driver is to ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of packages to customers. You are responsible for following a scheduled route, safely navigating through traffic, and delivering packages in a timely manner.

Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, prioritizes safety, and care about customer expectations and satisfaction. You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse: DCL7 10801 Madison Ave Cleveland OH 44102

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Safely always operate your delivery vehicle.
  • Be available for the entire shift 
  • Use smart phone devices for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with the team.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in all weather conditions and on various routes.
  • Lift, load and unload packages (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at varying locations.
  • Keep pace in physically demanding job.
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening
  • Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory*
