Job description

Work Schedule: Position may be scheduled Monday through Saturday, first or second shift, based on company needs and/or volume. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work as directed.

Reports to: Local Operations Manager

Position Summary: The Lead Driver functions as the team lead in deliveries and installation of appliances for the assigned truck route. The Lead Driver is responsible for assisting customers and other employees with the delivery and installation process. Carries out and assumes an active role in the company by performing the responsibilities and duties for the position under the direction of local area management. Provides general direction to the assigned Helper as necessary. The Lead Driver assists the Delivery & QC Manager as-needed. The Lead Driver completes training, on-boarding, and/or orientation of new Pride employees or contracted work teams. Must have chauffeurs license and DOT.
