CLERK JOB DESCRIPTION: Deliver friendly, honest, and focused customer service by being part of the Companies team! We offer a variety of tasks to keep your day fresh, such as: operating a cash register, preparing deli and pizza products, restocking products, provide excellent customer service, and maintaining the interior and exterior of the store appearance.

  3. Greet and thank every customer that enters our store
  4. Must be able to work weekends, days, nights, and holidays (talked about during interview)
  5. Inspired by the merchandise we sell and open to working in all areas including cashiering, stocking, food preparation, and propane fills
  6. Know our store promotions to increase sales
  7. Ability to educate our customers to increase sales
  8. Walk the store at the beginning of your shift, and at proper intervals during assigned shift to check any areas that need attention
  9. Properly manage money in register assigned and balance at end of shift avoiding over/shorts
  10. Answer the telephone in a professional manner and take every opportunity to provide excellent service to the potential customer on the phone
  11. Be proactive with "drive offs" and take ownership of the fuel bays being used during your shift
  12. Maximize sales by ensuring customers have purchased everything needed on their visit
  13. Can perform basic math with ability to make correct change
  14. Strong attention to detail
  15. Able to walk and stand for 100% of shift
  16. Ability to work in heated and/or freezer area for stocking purposes
  17. Able to lift, carry, or push up to 35 lbs.
  18. Previous cashier experience a plus, but is not required
  19. Proven excellent attendance
  20. Attending or completion of high school diploma or equivalent
