Job description

Job Summary

The HR Compliance, DEI & OSHA Specialist ensures organizational compliance with U.S. labor laws, workplace safety regulations, and DEI initiatives. This role supports policy development, audits, training programs, and risk mitigation across multi-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ACA, EEOC, California Labor Law, etc.)

Manage OSHA compliance, including safety audits, incident reporting, and corrective action tracking

Support DEI initiatives through policy development, training programs, and data reporting

Conduct internal HR compliance audits and recommend process improvements

Partner with legal, HR, and operations teams to resolve employee relations and compliance issues

Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance documentation

Support HR investigations and regulatory inquiries when required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Public Administration, or related field

2+ years of experience in HR compliance, labor law, or workplace safety

Strong knowledge of U.S. employment regulations and OSHA standards

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and risk assessment skills

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting California-based workforce

Familiarity with DEI metrics, reporting, and training facilitation

HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
