Job description

Position: Mitigation Technician
Location: Norcross, GA / Cumming, GA
Job Type: Full-time / Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and assess water damage sites to identify the extent of damage and determine appropriate mitigation actions
  • Operate specialized drying and extraction equipment to remove water, restore affected areas, and minimize mold risks
  • Perform restoration and cleaning activities, including carpet cleaning, mold remediation, and debris removal
  • Support fire restoration projects as needed to assist with property recovery efforts
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment during drying and repair processes
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while ensuring proper handling and disposal of contaminated materials
  • Work closely with team members to develop and execute restoration plans based on project requirements
  • Adhere to safety procedures and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in restoration services or related industries such as construction, maintenance, or cleaning preferred
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and processes used in water mitigation and restoration work
  • Experience operating cleaning and drying equipment, including carpet extractors and dehumidification systems
