As our Food Runner, you will be responsible primarily for assisting the Tidal + Server in serving the guest. Service includes clearing/cleaning tables, delivering food to the guests and any additional items they may need, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact.
This opportunity also provides the ability to cross train and gain exposure to other facets of Tidal+ restaurant. For qualified colleagues, they may also be able service shifts in a Bartender and Server capacity.
Key Food Runner Responsibilities:
  • Assist servers in delivering food promptly and accurately to guests
  • Ensure all plates are presented according to restaurant standards
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and service stations
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables when needed
  • Provide a high level of customer service to enhance the guest experience
The hourly rate for this position is $21.30/hour to $21.73/hour. The starting rate for this position is $21.30/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is currently offered at $21.73/hour. When scheduled to work in a secondary capacity as a server, you will earn $17.13/hour. When scheduled to work in a secondary capacity as a bartender, you will earn $19.60/hour.
This position earns additional compensation from gratuities and tips given at the guest's discretion to the Tidal + serving team, as well as service charges on applicable orders.
