Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Housekeeping Team as our Room Attendant / Housekeeper at the Grand Hyatt Seattle!

The Room Attendant / Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. This involves cleaning bathrooms, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning mirrors and windows, etc. This position requires attention to detail while working safely and efficiently. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests is preferred.

The hourly rate range for this position is 28.20/hour - $29.78/hour. The starting hourly rate for this position is $28.20/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is currently offered at $28.76/hour. Depending on experience, a candidate for this position may also be eligible to be hired as a lead at a "lead rate" of $29.20/hour. For lead colleagues who have remained in their lead position for four years, they are currently offered a rate of $29.78/hour. 

This position has the potential to earn additional compensation through:

         Gratuities provided at the guest's discretion

         Extra beds made such as sofas and roll-aways

         Bought rooms" when Room Attendants volunteer/request to clean extra square footage

    • (6) Paid Holidays per year
  • Regular Part-Time Colleagues: Pro-rated vacation hours earned  on 1-year anniversary based on average weekly hours worked during the previous 12 months of employment
