Major/Essential Duties of the Job:
Assists the Head Coach in all phases of the sports program to include the following: coaching, scheduling, conditioning, contest preparation, scouting, practice planning, budget preparation, fund raising, purchasing and care of equipment, planning and supervision of team travel, and monitoring the personal, academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
1. Computer competence in word processing, database management and
electronic mail.
2. Needs good organizational and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
5. Tolerates work related stress effectively and maintains self-control/professionalism.
Occasional duties: As assigned by Head Coach or Athletic Director.
