Job Description Are you an experienced program director looking for an exciting role that will have an impact on developing strategy and business performance? BAE Systems' Countermeasures & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area is seeking a Program Area Director to scale a portfolio of programs in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) Product Line. The ACES Product Line is at the forefront of protecting the warfighter by developing next-generation dispenser systems, decoys and countermeasures to help aircraft answer evolving multi-spectral threats providing layers of defense. As an ACES Program Area Director, you will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex environment to drive strategic growth and performance for the portfolio over the full product lifecycle. In this role you will be adept at collaborating with and influencing leaders and stakeholders across the product line, business, customers, and suppliers to support mission critical performance. As the leader of a cross functional team, you will champion innovation, build trusted relationships at all levels, grow and develop talent and foster a culture of all voices. This position will report to the ACES Product Line Director. This is a hybrid role with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off. Our flexible work environment provides you a chance to change the world without giving up your personal life. Positions are available in Nashua, NH or Austin, TX. In this role, you will:
* Provide strategic leadership and execution across the full product lifecycle (capture, development, production and sustainment) ensuring financial objectives are met for the Program Area. * Manage and advocate for resources to support the program area objectives
* Lead with vision to motivate, coach and inspire a cross functional team to achieve portfolio excellence. * Develop direct reports in the execution of program management. Grows the bench of talent by assessing gaps, developing competencies, and planning for resources. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Experience leading a portfolio across the full product lifecycle (capture, development, production and sustainment). This includes complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, challenging technical requirements and schedules.
* Ability to make informed, timely and impactful decisions that balance risk and opportunity, build resiliency and reduce probability of unexpected outcomes. Leverages diverse views and experiences of extended team and stakeholders in activities.
* Deep understanding of business operations, financial management and external landscape to inform decisions.
* Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create improved business and customer outcomes. * Proven communication skills with experience presenting a clear and concise vision to senior leadership.
* Ability to drive operational excellence and change management that enhances productivity and efficiency within cross-functional teams.
* Experience in fostering a high-performance culture by inspiring teams, growing talent, resolving conflict and seeking out diverse views.
* Ability to engage, interact with and influence customers, suppliers, functions and peers.
* Travel up to 25%. * Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of work experience or equivalent experience.

Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
