Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is recruiting for an Integrated Master Scheduler.  In this role, you will support PM Soldier Survivability (SSV), which is located at Ft. Belvoir, VA and Huntsville, AL. The support required under this effort includes engineering, quality assurance and test support, acquisition support, business management support, logistics and fielding support, operations support, and administrative support. The specific task areas include program management, analysis, planning, studies, liaison, and operations support, strategic communications, engineering and logistics support, new equipment training, system test and product fielding support, acquisition and contracting support, software development and system safety, studies and analysis and quick response support. PM SSV's mission is to equip, clothe, and protect Soldiers to maximize performance today and provide enhanced capability tomorrow. PM SSV's products protect Soldiers and allow them to operate in any condition. Product Manager Air Warrior (PdM AW), Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM SCIE) and Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PdM SPE) are subordinate Product Offices in PM SSV.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizes and directs work, coordinates efforts related to design, develop, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Applies principles of project management developing large, complex schedules
  • Performs program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances
  • Builds and maintains a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Government sources
  • Monitors OEM schedule performance to include weekly and monthly variances
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
  • Acts as scheduling subject expert and mentors the program staff with regards to scheduling
  • Understands and has facility with enterprise-level scheduling software
  • Proposes processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education: BA or BS

Years of Experience: At least 12 years of experience

Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge of MS Project
  • Acquisition experience in the DoD environment.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
