Job description

Job Summary:
Thales is a company that architect solutions at the heart of the defence-security continuum. They are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, manage, and improve secure IT and OT systems, ensuring a robust security posture.
Responsibilities:
• Design, validate, and document technical solutions ensuring alignment with corporate architecture principles;
• Guarantee compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements;
• Collaborate closely with our teams of cybersecurity experts and IT operations to ensure successful delivery;
• Maintain up-to-date HLD and LLD documentation and ensure traceability of all changes;
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation proposals to project management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong expertise in solution architecture (infrastructure, Network, databases)
• Experience with Switches: Catalyst, Nexus
• Experience with Virtualization: ESX with SAN/VSAN storage
• Experience with Storage: MSA bay or equivalent technologies
• Experience with Operating Systems: Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with Databases: Oracle, MySQL, and related systems
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, high availability, and scalability best practices
• Ability to coordinate complex multi-stakeholder initiatives and ensure compliance with ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Change, Problem, Asset Management)
• Deep understanding of security, high availability, and scalability best practices
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical architect in a complex environment
