Our AS9100-certified Pressure Transducer division specializes in the design, manufacture, calibration, and repair of pressure and temperature transducers for high-reliability applications, including aerospace, military, industrial, space, and deep-sea environments.


What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Perform high-reliability soldering for electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, including strain gages.
  • Assemble and inspect electronic assemblies to IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
  • Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Apply potting compounds to assemblies and connectors to ensure rigid support.
  • Use microscopes for assembly work over extended periods.
  • Collaborate with team members and maintain strong communication throughout projects.
Requirements:

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in electrical wiring and soldering.
  • Experience with surface mount technology and assembly.
  • Familiarity with schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Mechanical knowledge and basic machining experience.
  • IPC-J-STD-001 certification preferred.

Additional Information

  • This position is on-site at our North Tonawanda, NY facility.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of our contracts and compliance with federal regulations.
  • This is a full-time, hourly, union position.
  • Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday, 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM (weekday overtime and occasional weekends as needed).
  • Pay: Starting at $23.80 per hour.
