Position Summaryย 

The Multi-Site Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of multiple residential apartment communities. This leadership role ensures that each assigned community meets or exceeds financial, occupancy, and customer service goals. The Multi-Site Community Manager directs on-site teams, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with all company policies and legal requirements, while promoting a culture aligned with Decron Properties' values.ย 

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations at multiple residential communitiesย 

  • Provide direct supervision of on-site Assistant Managers, Leasing Staff, and Maintenance Staffย 

  • Develop, manage, and analyze budgets, occupancy, collections, and expenses for each communityย 

  • Ensure consistent operational standards across all sitesย 

  • Lead performance management and staff development at each locationย 

  • Monitor and address resident satisfaction, concerns, and retentionย ย 

  • Ensure communities comply with Fair Housing, OSHA, local regulations, and company policiesย 

  • Conduct regular site visits and property inspectionsย 

  • Partner with Maintenance Supervisors to maintain physical asset condition and service response timesย 

  • Report on performance metrics and strategic updates to Residential Portfolio Managerย 

  • Travel between sitesย 

Non-Essential Dutiesย 

  • Assist in onboarding new community team membersย 

  • Support marketing efforts across communities during lease-up or high-turnover periodsย 

  • Participate in company-wide initiatives, training, and events as neededย 

  • Other duties as assignedย 

Required Qualificationsย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Real Estate, or related field preferredย 

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-family property management, including at least 2 years managing multiple locationsย 

  • Strong financial and operational acumenย 

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsย 

  • Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage)ย 

  • In-depth knowledge of Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and budgetingย 

  • Ability to work weekends or extended hours as neededย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • CAM, ARM, or CPM certificationย 

  • Experience managing multiple properties with diverse operational needsย 

Work Environment and Physical Requirementsย 

This position requires frequent travel between properties and works both in office environments and on-site throughout the communities.ย 

  • Frequently walk communities, including stairwells and outdoor areasย 

  • Abilitiy to lift up to 25 poundsย 

  • Use standard office equipment and mobile devicesย 

  • Communicate clearly and effectively in person, via phone, and electronicallyย 

  • May be exposed to outdoor elements during inspectionsย 

  • May be required to travel locally between communitiesย
