Play a pivotal role in bringing the new ONE Deco vision to life, by orchestrating global projects, such as product innovation and optimizing operational processes.

As a Global Program Manager within ONE Deco, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence in our product development and operational processes across all the brands in the decorative segment. This role isn't just about running projects-it's about crafting the future of our organization.

  • Actively participate in creating a ONE-deco spirit, demonstrating collective scale and experience to think bigger and more thoughtful together.
  • Be the first to explore areas with potential to propel our distinctive brands forward.
  • Support the Brands and the segment in achieving growth and/or efficiencies, where it makes sense for the business.

This role focused on strategy execution through program management. You will act as portfolio manager for assigned prioritized Decorative Segment annual strategic projects. Your main focus is to orchestrate One Deco strategic projects encompassing cross-brand and cross-functional elements.

This role involves achieving annual project results and ensuring long term strategic projects are progressing, with a particular emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence initiatives within the segment. You will,

  • Lead and update the One Deco segment product pipeline.
  • Handle Segment Innovation and Sustainability projects, ensuring a powerful innovative and sustainable global Deco pipeline (PaintGreen)
  • Roll-out and anchor Segment Product Development governance and operations (ColourGate)
  • Supply to Rethink Innovation and delivering differentiated solutions.
  • Harmonize segment product management community and follow ups.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

You are a top-tier project manager - highly expert with cross functional projects - with a broad understanding of Hempel's processes and stakeholders. You have a global and collaborative attitude and flourish with co-creation. Getting stuff done comes naturally to you.

  • Validated experience in project management with a consistent record of success. Solid understanding of technical products and focus on operational execution.
  • Fluent in English with excellent partner and interpersonal skills. Experience with coordination across functions, geographies, cultures
  • Willing to take action with flexibility and creativity to drive projects globally - across many time zones.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Wide understanding of Hempel functions and network
  • strong influencing skills and a global mindset
