Job description

We are seeking an experienced Chassis Design Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in passenger vehicle chassis or structural design. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Creo, sheet metal, welded structures, GD&T, and automotive design.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop chassis components including control arms, subframes, knuckles, engine cradles, torsion beams, axle brackets, and mounting structures.
  2. Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo.
  3. Perform vehicle packaging and chassis integration studies.
  4. Apply GD&T, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing principles to designs.
  5. Work closely with CAE, testing, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.
  6. Support design validation, test feedback, tolerance stack-up, and root-cause analysis.
  7. Maintain design documentation and engineering change processes using PLM tools such as Windchill.
Required Qualifications
  1. 5–7 years of experience in automotive chassis or structural design.
  2. Expert-level experience with Creo, preferably Creo V6.0 or higher.
  3. Strong knowledge of sheet metal, welded structures, and metal fabrication.
  4. Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM/DFA, and design release processes.
  5. Experience with vehicle dynamics, chassis load cases, and design validation.
  6. Ability to collaborate with CAE and testing teams.
  7. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
