CAD/CAM Technical Support & Installation Specialist – Dental Technology

Location: Suwanee, GA | Industry: Dental Lab Equipment & CAD/CAM Technology

About Us:

We are a leading provider of premium dental laboratory equipment and digital workflow solutions, specializing in high-performance systems that support modern dental labs with precision and efficiency. Our technology suite includes advanced dental milling machines, CAM software integration, suction systems, and ceramic furnaces designed for top-tier restorative work.

We are deeply integrated with hyperDENT, a state-of-the-art CAM software solution that powers efficient, accurate dental restoration workflows. Our equipment plays a major role in implant-supported restorations, including All-on-X cases, helping dental labs and clinics deliver full-arch solutions with speed and reliability.

This is a startup-style environment within a fast-growing organization, with plenty of room for professional development as we continue to expand our product line and service capabilities across North America.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a CAD/CAM Technical Support & Installation Specialist to join our growing technical team. This role will be responsible for the full lifecycle of customer support—from equipment installation and onboarding to training and ongoing troubleshooting—focused specifically on digital dental workflows.

This is a niche role in the dental industry, ideal for someone with experience in dental CAD/CAM systems and a passion for helping clients succeed with cutting-edge technology. You’ll be an integral part of a small, agile team where your input will directly shape our service offerings as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform installation and onboarding of dental CAD/CAM equipment, including:
  • Dental Milling Machines
  • hyperDENT CAM Software
  • Dental Scanners & CAD Software
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, text, and in-person visits.
  • Conduct customer training sessions—both remote and onsite.
  • Ensure quality control on all equipment prior to customer delivery.
  • Write and maintain documentation including user manuals, training guides, and FAQs.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate support logs and case documentation in the customer support system.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in dental CAD/CAM workflows, materials, and implant-based restoration strategies such as All-on-X.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of technical support experience in a CAD/CAM environment.
  • In-depth understanding of dental milling workflows and CAM software (experience with hyperDENT is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to users of all experience levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel for customer installs and occasional weekend support as needed.

Full-Time Benefits Include:

  • 401(k)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Paid time off and sick leave
  • Paid holidays

This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone looking to grow alongside a cutting-edge digital dental technology team. If you're passionate about CAD/CAM, thrive in a startup-style environment, and want to help shape the future of digital dentistry—we’d love to hear from you.
