Project Manager – Lead Residential Outdoor Construction Projects from Post-Sale to Completion


Job Overview

  • Company: Cousins Roofing Siding & Decks
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $60,000 - $80,000 per year plus Performance Based Bonus and Profit Sharing
  • Location: Pittsburgh, PA (10% Travel Required)
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time

The Opportunity

You will serve as a premier field leader driving the successful execution of custom deck, porch roof, and outdoor living projects from the initial post-sale handoff all the way through to final completion. This role allows you to take total ownership of residential jobsites while collaborating with a high-performing team in a rapid-growth environment. You will have the autonomy to manage project lifecycles, coordinate field crews, and directly protect the company's earning reputation.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Direct the daily execution of residential outdoor construction projects from post-sale handover through final client sign-off.
  • Coordinate complex daily tasks and assign responsibilities to field crews to maintain strict build timelines.
  • Address and resolve real-time technical construction or site logistical issues to prevent residential project delays.
  • Maintain exceptional communication with homeowners and crews to ensure seamless updates and high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress closely to ensure all structural framing and finish carpentry meet strict quality standards.
  • Influence project profitability by efficiently managing material deliveries, labor resources, and site operations.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or project management experience specifically within the construction field.
  • Proven ability to manage residential construction projects seamlessly from post-sale contract to final closeout.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing homeowner relations and field crew dynamics.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience managing specialized outdoor living structures, custom decks, or porch roof builds.
  • Advanced knowledge of residential building codes, permitting processes, and framing safety standards.
