Looking for experienced and dedicated Deckhands to join our team!
We are an inland marine company that is looking for experienced deckhands to help us with our daily operations. Carline is a family-owned towing operator located in Geismar, LA operating between New Orleans and Baton Rouge on the Mississippi River. As a Deckhand, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to:
  • Assisting with securing of barges and vessels
  • Operating and maintaining vessel equipment
  • Conducting routine maintenance and housekeeping of the vessel
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Assisting with the transport of barges along the Mississippi River.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Deckhand (Inland, Offshore, Dredge, Etc.)
  • Knowledge of vessel operations and maintenance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work long hours and in adverse weather conditions if needed
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
