Assistant Debate Coach
LOCATION:
Stillwater Area High School
PURPOSE OF THE ACTIVITY:
-To provide an opportunity for students to help and mentor incoming students at SAHS
-To provide resources for debate members
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
- Connection to a high school community
- Communicate with high school students - Be supportive to high school students
- Education degree and/or counseling
- Previous Debate coaching experience preferred.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
Activities Director/Building Principal
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Assist head coach with club meeting days
B. Help plan for special events organized by the club advisor
C. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.
LENGTH OF ACTIVITIY:
Weeks: 13
After School/Saturday - As assigned by the advisor
