Job description

Suncrest Hospice is on the lookout for caring Death Doulas! If you're someone who wants to be there for patients and families during their end-of-life journey, offering emotional, spiritual, mental, or physical support, then we want you. Join the Suncrest Hospice team to bring comfort and support to the community and make a difference.

Hospice care's philosophy is all about making the end of life as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Our team, including a nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain, and volunteer, walks alongside patients and families on their journey.

We need volunteers to join us in providing excellent care and support to hospice patients and their families in their homes across various Bay Area counties. If you're open to becoming a Death Doula, even better! All volunteers receive training, and we cover background checks, drug testing, and TB testing at no cost.

We serve families in Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Sonoma, Marin, and many other Bay Area counties.
