Position Summary:

The Dean of Students University Aide (DOSUA) assists the Divisionof Student Affairs to support administration of non-clinical case managementand student conduct processes, office operations, and training. The DOSUA willdevelop outreach, written communication, and training materials regarding Deanof Students Office referrals, processes, and operations. The DOSUA will assistwith administrative processes to support students in distress and economicallyvulnerable students, including those experiencing food insecurity; housinginsecurity; and other financial and life challenges. **This position has a hybrid work option.**

Job Duties:

  • Use the Maxient system to send resources and correspondence to students, faculty, staff, and other members of a student's care network (e.g., parents and medical/mental health providers)
  • Create and edit letter templates for a variety of processes
  • Create education and training materials regarding resources and processes to support students, faculty, and staff
  • Assist with the revision of operational documents, including job descriptions and procedure manuals
  • Consult with and maintain strong collaborative relationships with campus entities
  • Manage correspondence on behalf of the Dean of Students Office via email, phone, and Teams chat
  • Other projects as assigned by the Assistant Dean of Students or the Assistant Vice President & Dean of Students

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned masters degree in higher education, counseling,social work, or related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Student Affairs unit.
