Job description

  1. Under the guidelines communicated, work to provide an environment that is conducive to study and learning.
  2. Maintain general cleanliness and physical order of the library, reporting needs to custodial or maintenance departments when appropriate.
  3. Report study hall status and issues to Dean of Girls as requested or necessary.
  4. Organize all library resources so they are easy to locate and utilize.
  5. Check books in and out, including processing and collecting late fees.
  6. Other duties as assigned, based upon the needs of the school or department.

  1. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  2. Both the ability and willingness to work with students, dorm staff, faculty, and co-workers.
  3. Familiarity with Google Suite programs (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  4. Experience in an active academic environment and familiarity with the basic academic requirements of the school.
  5. While administrative supervision and direction will be provided, the individual should be self-motivated, with good critical thinking and decision-making skills.
