Automotive Detailer / Car Detailer

City CDJRF of Brookfield is growing, and we’re looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Automotive Detailer / Car Detailer to join our team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working around vehicles, and want to be part of a successful dealership team, this is an excellent opportunity. As a Vehicle Detailer, you’ll play a key role in preparing new and used vehicles for customer delivery, showroom display, and sale while helping us deliver an outstanding customer experience. Whether you’ve worked as an Automotive Detailer, Car Detailer, Vehicle Detailer, Porter, Lot Attendant, Car Washer, or Reconditioning Technician, we’d love to hear from you.

Closed Sundays

Responsibilities

Wash, clean, wax, polish, and detail new and used vehicles to dealership standards

Perform complete interior and exterior detailing, including vacuuming, shampooing, glass cleaning, stain removal, dashboard cleaning, and trim care

Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, showroom display, photography, and dealership inventory

Apply waxes, paint protection products, tire dressing, and other protective coatings

Perform light vehicle reconditioning to improve vehicle appearance

Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality standards

Maintain the appearance of vehicles on the lot and in the showroom

Safely move vehicles throughout dealership property

Assist with light Porter and Lot Attendant responsibilities as needed

Keep the detail department clean, organized, and operating efficiently

Follow all dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Automotive Detailer, Car Detailer, Vehicle Detailer, Porter, Lot Attendant, Car Washer, or Reconditioning Technician is preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work both indoors and outdoors

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
