Job Description The Inventory Photographer is responsible for photographing dealership vehicles and ensuring high-quality, consistent images are available for online inventory listings. This position plays an important role in presenting vehicles professionally to potential customers by capturing clear, accurate, and appealing photos of each vehicle. The Inventory Photographer will work closely with the dealership’s Sales and Management teams to ensure newly acquired inventory is photographed promptly and prepared for online merchandising. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, comfortable working independently, and able to work efficiently in an outdoor dealership environment. This job description summary outlines core aspects of this position, but additional duties may be required on a routine basis. This job description does not constitute the complete responsibilities for this position. Responsibilities Photograph new and used vehicles according to dealership standards. Capture consistent exterior, interior, and feature photos for each vehicle. Ensure vehicles are photographed from appropriate angles and that important features, options, and condition are accurately represented. Maintain a consistent photography style, background, framing, and image quality across dealership inventory. Upload and organize vehicle photographs using the dealership’s designated inventory or photography system. Coordinate with Sales, Service, Detail, and Management teams regarding vehicle availability and photography needs.
Job Requirement:Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous photography experience preferred but not required. Previous automotive or dealership experience is a plus. Basic understanding of photography principles, including lighting, composition, framing, and angles. Highly organized and detail oriented Basic computer and technology skills. Ability to learn and use dealership inventory and photography software. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies between vehicles and inventory records.
