A premier luxury automotive dealer group in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced and results-driven Platform Fixed Operations Director to provide strategic leadership for multiple dealership fixed operations departments. This executive-level position is responsible for driving profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and the consistent execution of best practices across all service, parts, warranty, detail, and customer care operations.

The ideal candidate is a proven multi-store fixed operations leader who excels at developing high-performing teams, improving financial performance, implementing standardized processes, and partnering with dealership leadership to achieve sustained growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for Service, Parts, Warranty, Detail, and Customer Care/BDC operations across multiple dealership locations.
  • Develop and execute platform-wide fixed operations strategies that maximize profitability, operational efficiency, and customer retention.
  • Partner with General Managers and executive leadership to achieve company-wide financial and operational objectives.
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop Fixed Operations Managers, Service Managers, Parts Managers, and department leadership teams.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including gross profit, ELR, technician productivity, proficiency, efficiency, parts inventory performance, CSI, customer retention, and warranty performance.
  • Standardize operating procedures and implement best practices across all dealerships within the platform.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and long-term operational planning.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Drive technician recruitment, advisor development, succession planning, and leadership training initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive fixed operations leadership experience, including multi-store or regional oversight.
  • Luxury automotive dealership experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success improving profitability, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and employee development across multiple locations.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to travel regularly between dealership locations.
