Job description

The Parts Expeditor is responsible for quickly identifying, sourcing, and billing automotive parts for technicians based on service requests. The role requires a solid understanding of automotive parts, high attention to detail, and proficiency in using tools like Snap-on and CDK to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Look up and identify vehicle parts using Snap-on and Dealerbuilt software.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians and service advisors to ensure accurate parts selection and delivery.
  • Process and bill parts for services based on technician needs and work orders.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of automotive parts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly supplying technicians with the necessary parts.
  • Ensure accurate part numbers, pricing, and documentation for billing.
  • Manage part handoffs to technicians and resolve any discrepancies related to parts.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive parts sales or related field.
  • Proficiency in Snap-on or similar automotive parts lookup systems.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, including filters, components, and tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
