What does a dealer rep do?

A Dealer Rep, short for Dealer Representative, acts as the main point of contact between a company (often in the automotive, gaming, or retail industries) and its network of dealers or retail partners. Their responsibilities typically include promoting products, providing training and support, resolving issues, and ensuring dealers meet sales targets. Dealer Reps often travel to visit dealer locations, help with merchandising, and relay feedback from the field to their company. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, as Dealer Reps play a key part in driving sales and maintaining positive business relationships.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a dealer rep?
