Job description

PURPOSE

This position supports revenue growth goals by sourcing new and existing sales opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate outbound sales calls to qualified businesses, presenting products, and closing deals for Hot Shot’s Secret diesel oil and fuel additives line of products.
  • Successfully sell Hot Shot’s Secret products to new and existing customers using the ability to present compelling offers and influence customer decision-making.
  • Proactively retain existing customer relationships through regular contact.
  • Generate a minimum of 30 outbound sales calls daily to qualified prospects, presenting products, and closing sales.
  • Engage in a minimum of 15 hours per week on phone sales calls.
  • Update tasks and initiatives, and track leads, prospects, and new accounts in CRM system.
  • Identify opportunities and present to decision maker as appropriate.
  • Overcome objections and offer alternatives where appropriate.
  • Create sales orders in Net Suites or relevant sales program.
  • Respond to inbound sales and customer service calls and email inquiries.
  • Develop new customers through planned individual account support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to overcome objections and present appropriate features and benefits. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong phone presence and positive attitude. 
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • An intermediate level of knowledge with Microsoft Office suite, email, MS Office, and Salesforce or related CRM.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Possess an active driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent; college graduates preferred.
