Investor Relations Senior Associate, North America Who We Are

Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) runs a global Operator-Led Search Fund program, helping mid-career professionals to identify, acquire, grow, and exit established small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) typically faced with succession challenges.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Investor Relations Senior Associate to join our Investor Relations team in North America. This role bridges operational excellence with increasing exposure to investor-facing activities.

You will support investor communications, fundraising efforts, and maintain strong relationships with our investor network. This position is ideal for someone with solid operational experience in investor relations, fundraising, or finance who is ready to take the next step toward a more externally-facing and strategic role within a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities Investor Relations & Communication
  • Support communication with investors, ensuring timely, clear, and professional interactions
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of quarterly reports, updates, and investment materials
  • Assist in managing relationships with HNWIs, family offices, and other investor groups across North America.
  • Organize and participate in investor calls, meetings, and events
  • Support the development and refinement of investor communication strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and portfolio companies to gather and present relevant updates
  • Support ongoing fundraising efforts for syndicated, deal-by-deal investments
  • Assist in preparing investment presentations, teasers, and supporting materials
  • Coordinate investor outreach and follow-ups throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Help manage investor pipelines and track engagement across opportunities
  • Conduct research on potential investors, market trends, and comparable transactions
Operations & Data Management
  • Maintain and update investor and deal data within CRM systems
  • Oversee data rooms to ensure materials are accurate, complete, and well-structured
  • Support onboarding of new investors and co-investors
  • Coordinate with legal and internal stakeholders to prepare and distribute documentation
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy, organization, and confidentiality
Requirements Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Solid operational, administrative, and/or back-end experience in investor relations, fundraising, finance, or a related area
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across international teams
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive mindset
