General Description


The Obstetrician-Gynecologist at NeoMed Center evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to post-pubescent female patients with injuries and disorders of the female reproductive system and the genitourinary system. Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent and urgent conditions. This OBGYN Physician is required to practice obstetrics specializing in the management of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Also provides comprehensive care for pregnant individuals, ensuring the health and well-being of both the mother and the developing fetus throughout the stages of pregnancy.

 

Minimum Education


Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution

Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from an accredited program (required)

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Required Obstetrics practice in the east region of Puerto Rico


Licenses / Certifications

  • Medical License issued by the Puerto Rico Medical Discipline and Licensure Board
  • Valid specialty certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Puerto Rico
  • Federal (DEA) and State (AMSSCA) License for Controlled Substances
  • CPR-BLS certification
  • NPI Registry
