Position Summary
The Home Manager oversees the daily operations of a residential home serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What You'll Do

  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and survey-ready home environment through routine inspections, fire drills, emergency preparedness activities, and risk management.
  • Monitor training requirements, certifications, and competency records to ensure staff remain qualified and prepared.
  • Facilitate team meetings, promote effective communication, and provide timely coaching, recognition, and corrective action when needed.
  • Manage staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage to meet the needs of individuals supported.
  • Personally cover shifts when staff absences occur to ensure the safety and continuity of care.
  • Coordinate coverage for all call-outs and staffing shortages to maintain required supervision and support levels.
  • Maintain 24/7 cell phone accessibility and provide emergency coverage at the direction of management.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide coverage as needed
  • Ability to complete required training and obtain Medication Administration Certification within 90 days
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
