Join us as a Primary Capital Markets Vice President
  • Take on a broad-based capital markets role, supporting senior Debt Capital Markets (DCM) origination bankers and also covering US-based corporate clients across DCM, Interest Rate Derivatives and Structured Solutions
  • You'll work closely with corporate bankers and product partners across Liability Management, Corporate Advisory, Syndicate, Hybrid Capital, Rates and FX Sales and Trading, with a focus on investment-grade-rated corporates
  • Hone your existing capital markets expertise and take on a role with strong career-development potential as you help grow a focused and expanding franchise

What you'll do
As our - Primary Capital Markets Vice President , you'll take responsibility for making sure NatWest Markets delivers consistently high standards of customer service across the full transaction lifecycle. You'll act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence, while developing, deepening and institutionalising strong client relationships. Alongside this, you'll maintain close, collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders, working as part of a cohesive team to deliver joined-up client outcomes.
You'll also be:
  • Supporting and maintaining a robust risk control environment, so activity is conducted in line with policy, regulation and best practice
  • Undertaking periodic business-related projects to support analysis and the ongoing development of the franchise
  • Delivering budgeted PCM revenue through thoughtful client advice, proactive coverage and strong execution
  • Helping drive new business for the franchise through targeted client prospecting
  • Supporting the development of junior talent in Primary Capital Markets by providing guidance, oversight and coaching where appropriate

The skills you'll need
Be the trusted capital markets partner who combines origination expertise, client judgement and collaborative leadership to drive growth. To thrive in this role, you'll bring at least five years' experience in DCM origination within an investment banking environment. You'll pair this with a strong track record of transaction execution and client coverage. We'll expect you to enjoy working within a collaborative, high-energy team, partnering closely with colleagues across the franchise to deliver high-quality client outcomes and advance shared commercial goals.
You'll also bring:
  • A bachelor's degree, BA or BS
  • Series 79 and Series 63 licenses
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • The confidence to take on broad responsibilities in a growing platform

The expected base annual salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation. The exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus; medical, dental, and vision plans; life and disability insurance; employee wellness programs; retirement and savings plans with potential employer contributions; generous paid time off policy, parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
