Unarmed Security Officer

TriCorps Security is hiring professional and motivated Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia. This role is based in a school environment and focuses on maintaining the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors through vigilance, professionalism, and service.


Applicants must hold a current DCJS Security Officer Certification and demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and sound judgment in a school setting. Former law enforcement officers, military veterans, and experienced security professionals are highly encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to school grounds, entrances, and buildings to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Provide a professional and reassuring presence while interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
  • Conduct patrols of campus facilities and outdoor areas to deter and detect potential safety or security concerns.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or requests for assistance and follow established protocols.
