DB2 Database Engineering & Architecture
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing IBM DB2 environments.
Architect database solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch DB2 instances.
Implement HADR (High Availability Disaster Recovery) and replication strategies.
Plan and execute database migrations and capacity planning.
Develop backup and recovery strategies (Full, Incremental, Rollforward).
Performance Tuning & Optimization
Monitor and tune DB2 databases for performance and scalability.
Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database structures.
Analyze explain plans and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Implement proactive monitoring solutions.
UNIX System Engineering
Strong hands-on experience in UNIX environments (AIX/Linux/Solaris).
